A Thanksgiving Tradition: Legion at the Charlotte Turkey Trot

Thanksgiving morning in Charlotte always has a certain energy to it, and this year the Turkey Trot delivered that feeling in the best possible way. Our Legion Brewing team showed up bright and early ready to run, cheer, and celebrate the strength of our community. A few of our employees took on the course in their Legion gear, passing out pint cards and high fives as they moved through the crowd. It was the perfect mix of movement, excitement, and hometown pride.

Once we crossed the finish line, we made our way to the Legion tent where our crew was already greeting runners with ice cold pints of our craft beer. There is something special about seeing people cross a finish line and immediately light up at the sight of a well deserved beer. Offering free pints felt like the right way to reward everyone for showing up and giving it their all. The morning was full of thank yous, cheers, and a lot of happy runners raising a glass to the day ahead.

Being part of the Turkey Trot is always one of our favorite moments of the season. It reminds us why the Charlotte community means so much to us.
