If you’ve ever spent time in one of our taprooms, you know that Legion is more than just a place to grab a beer. It’s a place where neighbors meet, friends gather, and something fun is usually unfolding in the background. Whether it’s a spirited round of trivia, a local band on the patio, or a back-to-school craft day for the kids. We host events because we believe beer brings people together and those moments of connection are what we’re all about. Here’s a closer look at what’s happening across our Charlotte locations. 

The Weekly Rituals We All Look Forward To

Wine Wednesdays 

 Midweek calls for something smooth. Wine Wednesday happens at West Morehead, SouthPark, and Trolley Barn every week — casual, no fuss, and a perfect excuse to meet up with your wine-loving crew to have a mid-week debriefing. 

Trivia Nights 

 We like to keep it light, fun, and competitive in the best way. 

  • Tuesday nights at Plaza Midwood 
  • Thursday nights at West Morehead 

 Bring a team or jump in solo – our trivia nights have become local favorites. 

Weekend Brunch 

 We’re all about a solid brunch lineup. 

  • Trolley Barn serves up mimosas and breakfast burritos every Saturday and Sunday. 
  • SouthPark brings brunch vibes on Sundays only – think elevated plates, local coffee, and a patio worth lounging on. 

Taproom Moments You Won’t See on the Calendar

Not everything we do is scheduled like clockwork and that’s the fun of it. 

You might roll up and catch a local DJ spinning sunset sets at Trolley Barn, or a folk trio playing on the Plaza Midwood patio. You might come in to watch the Charlotte FC match and realize the whole place is on their feet cheering. We don’t script the energy, we just set the stage. 

Game days? You’re covered. Any of our locations are ideal pre and post game spots, especially when the Panthers or Charlotte FC are in town. Our screens are on, the beer is cold, and the crowd is always in it. 

Events With Heart (And Pets) 

Legion has always been rooted in community and that includes all ages and furry friends. 

This August, we’re hosting a Back-to-School series at our SouthPark taproom, partnering with @southparkclt, @theloopclt, @brokencrayonstudio, and @booksonthehousenc. From story time to crafts and critters, it’s all about creating space for all walks of life to connect. 

Over in Plaza Midwood, we host pet adoption events with Billie’s Buddies. Think patio hangs, pups looking for homes, and plenty of beers being shared with new and old friends.

We like to keep a few surprises up our sleeve, but we can tell you this: 

  • We’re bringing the party over to the Knights Stadium for Night at the Knights to celebrate the return of Carolina Feather, our smooth golden ale brewed for our 10-year anniversary. 
  • Friendsgiving is happening this fall (leep an eye out for more details dropping soon). 
  • Halloween parties are already in the works, and yes, costumes are highly encouraged. 

Another beer dinner is in the pipeline, showcasing how our kitchen and brewhouse collaborate on pairings that go way beyond bar food.
