Brew Good, Do Good: Volunteering with The Bulb

At Legion, we believe in giving back to the city that gives us so much — and we’re always looking for meaningful ways to support our neighbors. Recently, we had the chance to team up with a local nonprofit we deeply admire: The Bulb

The Bulb partners with local farmers, food suppliers, and grocery stores to collect non-sellable or overstock produce, which they sort and distribute through free markets across under-resourced communities in Charlotte. Their mission to improve food access and reduce waste aligns perfectly with ours — and it was an honor to serve alongside an organization that shares our values of community, collaboration, and care. 

We organized a few produce-sorting shifts with our team, and the impact was immediate. It gave our staff a chance to connect, give back, and make a hands-on difference. We called it Legion Brewing Volunteering Days: Brew Good, Do Good — and it truly lived up to the name. 

We’re excited to keep the momentum going. These experiences mean a lot to our team, and they deepen our roots in the Charlotte community.
